Instant quotes for your customers, at a glance
A load price without a site visit
Customers pick the lorry size, the waste and the number of loads and see a realistic range before anyone drives out.
Every load and every extra broken out
The estimate splits the first load, any discounted extra loads, wait time and a same-day uplift into its own line.
Second-load discount applied automatically
Book more than one load on the same visit and the calculator quietly discounts every load after the first, no negotiating needed.
Your load rates, your wait charge
Lorry rates, waste premiums and the per-15-minute wait charge are all yours, set once and changed whenever you like.
Enquiries arrive already sized up
Every enquiry reaches your inbox with the lorry size, waste type, load count and the price the customer saw.
Same-day loads, priced honestly
A same-day booking adds its own line on the estimate rather than a surprise on the phone, so nobody books blind.

The demo prices a grab hire visit the way most operators build up their own phone quote: a base rate per load that moves with lorry size, since an 8-wheeler shifts more muck per trip but costs more to run and tip. Waste type sits on top, because it is really a tipping-fee decision: clean, inert soil and hardcore go to the cheapest facility and set the standard rate above, mixed waste needs sorting and higher landfill tax so it picks up a premium, and green waste sits in between at its own gate fee. Book more than one load on the same visit and every load after the first is discounted, since the lorry is already on site for one trip. Wait time is billed separately for a pile that runs over the included window, and a same-day booking adds its own honest line rather than a phone-only surprise. None of these numbers is special: when we build a calculator for a real grab hire firm, the rates and the rules are all theirs, changed whenever they like.
The point is not the arithmetic, which is deliberately simple. It is that the customer gets an honest range in under a minute for exactly the loads they expect, and the operator gets a lead that already contains the lorry size, the waste type, the load count and the access notes that usually take a phone call to pin down. The conversation that follows starts from "what time can you get here" rather than "how much roughly for a lorry".
Why an instant quote wins the job over a skip enquiry
Grab hire and skip hire compete for the same driveway, and most homeowners weighing them up do not know the difference: they know they have a pile of muck and want it gone. A calculator that shows the price and the reach of the arm in the same minute answers the question a skip firm's contact form never does, why pay for a lorry to load rather than a container to sit and wait, before the customer has even decided which trade to call. That matters most on jobs where a grab genuinely wins, a pile behind a wall or fence with nowhere for a skip to stand, because the calculator makes the case for itself instead of relying on the operator to explain it down the phone. Speed matters too: many enquiries are same-day, a dig-out that has to clear before the weather turns, and an instant range lets that customer book on the spot rather than wait for a callback.
