Window & Door Repair Quote Calculator
This is a live, working example of the instant-quote tools we build for window repair specialists. Try it exactly as a homeowner would: tick off what has actually gone wrong with the windows and doors, get a realistic price range, and see how the enquiry lands with the business before anyone has been sold a whole new window. It is the small-repairs companion to our full window-replacement demo: that page prices new windows, this one prices fixing the ones already fitted.

Launch pricing: the struck-through figures are our standard prices. Annual billing is the monthly cost with 20% off, paid 12 months at a time. Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Bigger builds, with bookings, payments or CRM integrations, are priced on scope. Monthly plans roll month to month; stop whenever you like. Prices shown in pounds; we work in both GBP and USD.
Instant quotes for your customers, at a glance
A job list, not one flat repair fee
Homeowners tick off units, hinges, handles, locks and letterboxes exactly as they find them, not a single guessed figure.
Every fix priced and shown apart
The breakdown lists each pane, hinge pair, handle and lock separately, so nobody is quoted for work they never asked for.
Your rates behind every line
Per-unit, per-pair and per-door rates are entered once and stay yours to change whenever prices move.
Small jobs still priced properly
A single dropped handle and a five-item repair list both carry an honest call-out minimum, never a vague "give us a call".
Leads arrive with the job list attached
Every enquiry lands with the exact panes, hinges, handles and locks already chosen, before the phone rings.
Repair customers sorted from replacement ones
A homeowner pricing a hinge repair is a different lead to one pricing a new window, and this keeps the two apart.

The demo prices the job the way a window repair firm actually works one out over the phone: as a list of separate small jobs, not one guessed figure for "the windows". A misted or failed sealed unit is priced by size, since a small bathroom pane and a patio door light are not the same afternoon, and hinges, handles, a uPVC door lock or gearbox, a dropped door needing realignment, and a letterbox are each their own line with their own rate. Every line the homeowner adds simply totals into the range shown, and because a five-minute visit still costs the firm a van and an engineer's time, the whole quote carries a call-out minimum so a single handle is never quoted at next to nothing. None of these numbers is special: when we build a calculator for a real repair business, the rates, the size bands, the questions and the rules are all theirs, entered once and changed whenever they like.
The point is not the arithmetic, which is deliberately simple. It is that the homeowner gets an honest, itemised range in under a minute for the actual faults on their windows and doors, and the business gets a lead that already lists every job before anyone has driven out to look. The conversation that follows starts from "when can you fit us in" rather than "how much roughly to sort the windows".
Why "repair, not replace" is the whole pitch
Most homeowners with a misted window assume the next call is to a window firm for a full replacement, at £450–800 or more per opening. Very few know that swapping just the failed sealed unit inside a sound frame usually costs a fraction of that, often under £150. A calculator built around repairs says that out loud before anyone picks up the phone: it prices the cheaper fix by default, itemises hinges, handles, locks and letterboxes the same way, and turns "I suppose I need new windows" into "actually, this is a much smaller job than I thought". That is a better story to tell an anxious homeowner than a sales visit ever is, and it is a faster, cheaper job to book than a full re-glaze, so the business wins more of the repair work that a replacement-only competitor never sees.
